Tom is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Biochemistry. One of his focuses in college…nearly forty years ago, was fluoride toxicology. He was a Nutritionist with the Pritikin Longevity Center in Santa Monica, CA and a Nutritionist for the Total Health Foundation in Albany, NY. In the early 90's, he was fortunate enough to work for John Yiamouyiannis, Ph.D. (world’s leading authority on Fluoride biochemistry), in Ohio and he more recently worked as a Nutritionist and in patient support with the Schachter Center for Complementary Medicine in Suffern, NY for over seven years. Tom is married with a stepson. He also has a daughter from his first marriage. He enjoys distance running, bicycling, disc golf and public speaking on any health topic. He has run 25 marathons. He ran around Cayuga Lake in May of 1980 to support the work of Archie Kalakeronis, M.D., from Australia and the Linus Pauling Institute of Science and Medicine, in California. David Pihlcrantz received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology in 1974 and then, three years later, received his M.P.H. degree from the Yale School of Public Health. Before all this, he received the Biology Prize for his Water Pollution project, the same time the World’s first “Earth Day” was celebrated.
He has been a consultant to the Natural Products and Alternative Medicine Industry for over two decades, has helped with new ingredient formulations, structure, and function analysis to safely optimize ingredient claims in B2B and B2C markets and has worked in competitor analysis among many other health-related projects.
As a consultant to the Wellness Community, he has consulted with Weight Watchers, Int’l in their one-to-one Weight Management pilot project, has consulted in many projects relating to physical fitness and has conducted a lecture series on Aerobic Nutrition. In the Mainstream Health Care System, John was involved with the Hospital Association of New York State on the “DRG” project and also performed a feasibility study on the merger of two hospitals in Connecticut.
His entire life has been devoted to enhancing the health and wellness of American citizens everywhere.
